"In my view, one of the most fulfilling things a person can do in life is to be of service to others."
Background
I’m a professional commercial driver and trainer. I have worked in the passenger-carrying’ sector of the transportation industry for several years. I entered the industry in 2012, as a part-time deep dive into a transportation service idea which, I felt was an under-served niche.
Since that time, I have worked with numerous drivers in hundreds of driver-qualifications, personal and classroom trainings, annual driver-recertifications and safety meeting presentations. As a training program leader my responsibilities have included training content research, development, physical and digital deliverables. All, while establishing and managing what has become a highly successful program and trainer team.
Looking back, the many directions that original interest has taken me and the personal growth I have gained as a result has been far more than I could have ever imagined!

Most Recent Position
In May 2015, I joined what was then a small corporate transportation organization in Seattle Washington. In 2017, I accepted a promotion to Driver Trainer; and the challenge of developing the company’s first driver orientation program.
As the company success continued to grow in the northwest region and beyond, I was again promoted in 2018. I accepted the position of Training Manager and tasked with developing and leading a team of driver trainers necessary to scale up to meet ever growing customers and driver team numbers.
Since that time and leading up to my departure this past January; I am quite proud of the program and team’s success and numerous contributions. Today, that company considered by many as the North Wests Premier corporate transportation organization.
Overall Driving Background
My background includes private, public, corporate, and school bus sectors. I have held several positions as driver, driver-trainer, and company training manager, and senior leadership member.
As a training team leader, responsibilities included program and content research and development, presentations, project management and oversight on all training deliverables (classroom and behind the wheel BTW configurations).
My work and accomplishments have also given me opportunities to present at top-level vendor/client meetings with fortune 1000 organizations. So, as mentioned before, I could not have imagined all the opportunities available in this industry!
